John Rogers Food Pantry Donations Needed

John Rogers maintains a food bank to help our families in need of assistance throughout the school year and provides food boxes during the school breaks.   We are currently collecting non-perishable food items for our Thanksgiving break food boxes.   Last year, we provided food boxes for approximately 25 families.   Please consider donating food or gift cards (Kroger or Grocery Outlet preferred). A donation bin is located outside the office at school or donations can be dropped off with traffic volunteers.

Suggested items include canned foods like soups, stews, tuna, chicken, vegetables and fruit; dried pasta, beans, legumes; peanut butter, cereal, granola bars, dried fruit, oatmeal, juice, holiday foods and treats, etc.

We need hygiene items like shampoo, soap and toothpaste.     If you would like to help with the food bank/food boxes, please contact Andrea Bergan at (206) 817-1340 or thebergans@comcast.net.

Food boxes will be available to families on Friday, November 20.  If your family needs assistance, please contact Ms. Keene in the office at (206) 252-4320 by Wednesday, November 18.
Thank you so much for your support!

Is something missing from your student’s life?

Is your JRE student missing a coat, lunchbox, or rain gear?
The missing item may be waiting patiently in the Lost & Found. Encourage your student to visit the Lost & Found (located in the front of the cafeteria) to be reunited with the long lost object. Any items remaining in the Lost & Found at Winter Break will be donated, never to be seen again.
