Stem Night – 5/12

May 12, 6-7:30 pm: STEM Night

All families are invited to join us for STEM Night. Please mark your calendars! We will have fun, interactive STEM exhibits with community presenters which include exhibits from last year and some new exhibits as well.

  • WE NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS for setup/teardown and also to potentially help us run/supervise 1 or 2 exhibits that we will provide supplies and instructions for. We are also still trying to recruit for new exhibits! If you have ideas you would like to share, contacts in the community you would like us to reach out to or are interested in running your own exhibit please reach out to Brian, Vanessa, or Tess on the STEM committee (emails below). Last year Jesse (JRE 1st and 3rd grade parent) knocked it out the park with his can crushing experiment and we would love to see more creative ideas from within our own community! VOLUNTEER SIGN UP LINK HERE!

  • Student Scientists: We invite students to do a STEM project at home and make a poster about it. All posters will be displayed at STEM night and students who participate will be entered into a raffle for STEM prizes. Supplies for a few different projects and poster board are NOW available in the front entrance of the school or feel free to use your own ideas and supplies. Please hand in posters in the front entrance of the school (near the supplies) by May 11.
