2/5: Jane Addams Open House – 5th grade families are invited to attend an open house and tour on 2/5 beginning at 6:30 PM. There will be an overview at 6:30 PM followed by four sessions of your choice in classrooms. For more information www.jamsptsa.org
2/6: 4th grade Talent Show, 10:45am in the cafeteria. All are welcome to attend.
2/11: Global Reading Challenge – anin-school competition on 2/11 in the cafeteria. Participating 4th and 5th grade students will be competing to advance to the city semi-finals. Families are welcome to come watch.
2/11: SEED SALE Orders Due!! Help our kids raise money for next year 5th grade camp! Some of the costs are covered with grants from the PTA and Windermere; the 5th grade class raises money to offset the rest. Ask your family, friends and neighbors to purchase seeds! 2/13 AT 7PM. BAND/ORCHESTRA CONCERT – First ever Jane Addams and elementary side by side concert – will feature musicians from JAMS band/orchestra performing together with 5th graders from neighboring elementary schools. 2/28: PTA GRANTS due – The PTA awards six grants for up to $400 for community building, school enrichment and support. Any parent or staff is eligible to apply. Applications are in the office.
