IMPORTANT DATES:

January 13th – 2 Hour Early Dismissal – School will get out at 12:50

January 18th – Martin Luther King Jr Day – No School

January 19th – PTA General Meeting – 6:30 – 7:30 All Welcome! Free Childcare provided

January 29th – Day Between Semesters/School Make up Day – School is Open!

JR Movie Night – Inside Out 6:30 PM


*We need Swim Instructors for 3rd quarter & 4th quarter of swimming!!*

3rd quarter session is as follows:
February 26th, (Friday), February 29th (Monday)
March 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
April 1st, 8th

4th quarter is mid-April until June

We would need you in the pool from 9:30-11:30 & this is a paid position.

John Rogers Elementary Volunteer Applications

Walk to Swimming? Help in your child’s classroom?

If you answer yes to any of these you must return your volunteer application along with a copy of your identification (driver’s license)! All volunteers in Seattle Public Schools much complete the volunteer application process before volunteering. Recycled Plastic Caps Needed

The Student Green Team, in collaboration with The Art Walk, are collecting plastic caps of all colors and sizes for a recycled art project. Please bring your clean plastic caps to the collection station for recyclables next to the saltwater tank in the main hallway. Donations are needed as soon as possible and on an ongoing basis until you hear otherwise. Thank you!


Do you use creativity in your work each day?

We are looking for everyday art superheroes to come and share with our John Rogers community at Art Walk on Friday, February 5th.
Looking for all kinds of creative professions: hairdresser, architect, tattoo artist, graphic designer, window decorator, makeup artist, pastry chef, etc. If you or someone you know fits this description and would like to help out, please contact Suzanne Stauss (sstauss@gmail.com) Thank you!
