Please attend the District Levy Meeting at John Rogers on Tuesday, Jan. 8th at 7pm regarding the upcoming Seattle Public Schools FEBRUARY LEVY.
With the passage of this levy, John Rogers is slated for a rebuild, but only if it passes!

Tuesday, Jan. 8th – PTA Grants Deadline; The PTA is accepting applications for grant requests to support our school community. Applications available in the main office. Grant requests up to $400 will be considered.
Tuesday, Jan. 15th – Family Engagement and Action Team (FEAT) Meeting at 2:30pm in the Library; this meeting will be used to begin the planning process for our annual Heritage Night event coming in mid-March.
Tuesday, Jan. 15th – Potluck, PTA, and Parent Ed Night starting at 6pm – come hear from our school specialists (Music, PE, Library and Art).
Saturday, Jan. 19th – Parent Social at Korochka Tavern starting at 7pm; come meet and connect with other parents/ guardians while a percentage of the night’s proceeds will be donated back to the John Rogers PTA.
Monday, Jan. 21st – NO SCHOOL Martin Luther King Day.
Friday, Jan. 25th – Movie Night and 4th Grade Bake Sale Fundraiser; come enjoy a free movie in the cafeteria (more details to come via Kidmail soon) and 4th graders will be hosting a bake sale to help raise money for their trip to camp next fall (donations of any amount are welcome!)
Tuesday, Jan. 29th – Incoming Kindergarten Tour (1 of 2) starting at 8:30am; Do you know anyone planning to come to JR next year? Please spread the word about our upcoming tours.
We are also looking for volunteers to help run the tours. Please email Lisa Matsumoto if you are willing to help with tours – matsulisa@gmail.com
